1. Overview
In the Scenario planning analysis view, you compare scenarios and examine differences relative to the budget (baseline) or other scenarios.
2. Purpose
The purpose of this view is to gain a clear picture of the differences between scenarios and/or the budget (baseline), and to understand the financial impact of those differences.
3. Key elements
Tab: Changes
Compares the input entered across scenarios.
Tab: Reports
Compares the calculated outcomes across scenarios.
Shows the Changes and Reports tabs.
4. Analysing changes
- Compare changes per scenario
- Focus on values that have been adjusted
Shows a table with the budget (baseline) and scenarios listed together, including the differences between them.
5. Analysing reports
- Review financial differences and outcomes
- Use report configurations (set up via Set up scenario)
Shows columns with the budget (baseline) and a scenario displayed side by side.
6. Requirements
- Scenarios must have been calculated first, see the Calculate scenario view
7. Errors
No differences visible
→ No changes have been made in the scenario
8. FAQ
What is the difference between changes and reports?
Changes show the changes made to the input. Reports show the calculated outcomes based on those changes.
