For the calculation of funding and salary costs, Anago uses a funding model and a salary model. These models are populated based on legislation and regulations. You have the option to adjust either organisation-specific amounts or the statutory amounts.
In the Settings – Parameters screen there are two tabs: Funding and Salary Costs. Within each tab you can view and modify the relevant parameters. For more information about these screens, click the links below:
Parameters
In the Parameters screen, both funding and salary cost parameters are displayed. In the Snapshot filter, you can select a version (snapshot) and view the parameters for that specific version. This only applies to versions created after June 2025. Older versions can still be selected, but no data will be displayed. Anago uses a funding and salary model to calculate the funding and the salary costs. These models are populated based on laws and regulations. You have the option to change board-specific amounts or the statutory amounts.

Tip:
If you do not want parameters to be adjusted during the budgeting round, you can lock both the funding parameters and the salary parameters. Please note that you must then adjust the parameters in all tabs: For funding, parameters must be set per education type (if you have multiple). For salary parameters, all relevant tabs must be updated.
It is also possible to clear or copy all overrides at once.
If you create a snapshot at the start of the budgeting round, you can always return to this screen to see which parameters were used when the budget was prepared.
Note: If an update has taken place, you should review the overrides and, if necessary, delete or adjust them.

Copy Parameters to Overrides
If you choose to copy the parameter overrides and click the “Copy parameters to overrides” button:
The following screen will open:
You then follow these steps:
Tick Keep existing overrides (if applicable).
Select the year (and/or month) from which you want the parameters to be retained.
Select the year (and/or month) until which you want the parameters to be retained.
Click Copy.
When copying salary cost parameters, the same steps are followed as for the funding parameters. In this case, you also have the additional option to select a specific start and end month.
The application will then copy the overrides in the parameters for the specified years. The process is also fully described in the step-by-step instructions within the application.
Check Expectations
The Anago parameters are copied to the overrides only for the selected years.
If a parameter has already been extended into future years, this will remain the case after copying.
In all other cases, the copied override will not automatically extend into future years.
Note: If you copy an empty Anago parameter to the override and later enter a value for this override, it will not automatically extend into the future. You can use the delete button to remove this “hard” value so that it will once again be extended automatically.
Clear Overrides
If you want to clear the overrides (first), click the Clear overrides button:
A new screen will then open:
If you want to clear the overrides, click Continue. The overrides will then be cleared.
$note$
Clearing and copying overrides affects all tabs within the Funding or Salary Costs section. For example, within the Salary Costs tab this also applies to the Salary Table tab, but not to the Organisation-specific parameters tab.
