Administration
Investments
Investments are read in during the implementation or when an initial value is read in from the source system (AFAS), or through a template (Exact). For AFAS customers, a different start date and the end-of-service date are also read into Anago. The investments that are read in can no longer be changed (with the exception of the end-of-service date if a template was used to read in the data).
To change the column settings, click on Column settings at the top of the view
Here, you can specify which users see which columns in the main view.
By default, the Investments tab opens with the totals by category of investment types. To view investments by category, set the Show assets filter to All. This filter is remembered when you save the view and will automatically default to All when you open it again:
For investments that are read in, a number of things can be changed by clicking on the pencil: the cost unit, the end-of-service date (only if the investment was read in through a template) and the investment can be set to inactive.
An investment that was created can be deleted and all of its data changed.
New investments
Click on Add new investment to add a new investment. When you add a new investment, the description, investment class, cost centre, cost unit, investment type, purchase value, purchase date, depreciation start date, term and residual value must be entered to make the investment active. When the investment is added, the depreciation period is linked to the investment type and the residual value.
$note$
If the description, investment class, cost centre, cost unit, investment type, purchase value, purchase date, depreciation start date, term or residual value have not been entered for a new investment, the investment will not be active in Anago. You can use the (In)active filter to display the investment.

Expiring investments
This tab displays the investments in Anago that are due to expire within the years shown (+5 years):
Created investments
This tab displays the investments that were created in Anago:
Submit
When you have finished entering the data (possibly at the request of the functional manager), you can submit the view by clicking on Submit investments. Submitting the view freezes the view for the respective cost centre and changes can no longer be made. The functional manager can see whether the investments have been submitted per cost centre in the Progress and approve budget view and approve or reject the submission. If the submitted investments are rejected, you can change them for the respective cost centre and resubmit them.
Multi-year budget
If you want to immediately see the effect of changes in the administration (1st tab) on the multi-year budget, click on Recalculate multi-year budget. This takes you to the Multi-year budget tab where you will see the updated multi-year budget. The changes are also calculated when you save the view. You can view the multi-year budget here by year and by cost centre.
$note$
You can also filter the cost centre at a higher level, for example, at the sector or the GIAS level.
